Have you ever been in a situation where it’s taken blood and tears to build something only to realise at one point it’s not actually what you want? Be it the direction of your business, your relationship, or anything else that fits in with you.

For the past 3 years I’ve built my business from the ground up. I’ve had ups and downs, took online courses and took a direction that ‘made sense’. I became to systems girl, the girl who can work out any system and workflow you throw at her. Was I was good at? Hell yes. Did I enjoy it? In the beginning yes.  It got to the point where I was only doing this. For those who know me that very fact will raise a red flag. They know I’m a Scanner or Multipotentialite. I always have lots of things going on and I enjoy it. It was easy and cushy to keep going with it. It paid my bills, was easy enough work for me and I didn’t have to go through change.
Eww there I said it..Change.

Change is hard, uncomfortable and messy.

Change, especially when it comes to business and changing direction, can feel like failure. Failing to make your business work, failing your clients and most of all failing yourself.

Change can also be exciting, exhilarating, fun.

It took me a long time to realise it doesn’t have to be all or nothing! What if you started that change one step at a time and start by bringing other things into your life and slowly start moving away from the situation that’s not working for you?
What if after you’ve changed direction you’re actually be able to serve your clients even better? What if this was just your stepping stone to something even bigger? What if you could have it all?

I’ve taken the plunge to change direction, am exploring all sorts of different avenues and having a blast doing it. I still do all the system and workflow stuff, but I’ve scaled it way down and guess what? I’ve started to enjoy it again…I’ve added more Lomi Lomi into the mix and also more teaching other holistic practitioners how to run a business

So don’t be afraid to change direction even if you’ve established yourself in one area. Listen to your inner self to get the direction you should be going and follow it. I promise you the Universe has some good things in store if you take the plunge.

Let me know in the comments below if you took the plunge.
